I can't stand sleeping on a mattress pad that has that plastic sound to it so it makes noise every move you make, every time you roll over to get comfortable. It drives me batty! So I was excited to get this mattress pad and try it out.

I put this onto my Queen size bed and had no trouble with it. It even had enough stretch and room for the extra foam mattress thing that we have on our mattress. This pad doesn't have that plastic sound to it which is amazing. I think it has cut down on dust for our allergies too. Great buy for a great price! It is well worth the $24 to have our mattress stay clean. I wish we would have had it when our kids were younger and potty training and would sneak into our bed.

Cam-Rah Professional Series Tripod Kit (CAMRAHUNI)

It's been awhile since I made a video for my business page so I didn't get a chance to use this Tripod Kit until now and WOW!

Picture this, before I got this kit, I cleared off my tall end table stand in the living room. Then I stacked things, often books, on top to get it high enough and then used a bendy stand to try to hold my phone up. It was often falling over so I'd stack things behind it to hold it up. It was not an ideal set up but it was what I had around. Then I found the Cam-Rah Tripod Kit and I'm no longer stacking things haphazardly to get my phone camera into an upright position for my videos.

Inside the box there were 4 items and a card with website. I went online to the website and watched the 7 1/2 minute video to find out how to use this thing. I'm sure I could have figured it out myself but I found the video straight and to the point as well as containing some helpful tips that probably would have taken me awhile to stumble upon. There is the tripod stand. It has a clip that releases easily when the 2 buttons are depressed. It is suggested to always depress the 2 buttons when releasing or putting the part back into place to not break anything. There is a phone holder that extends out but I have a Samsung Note 4 so it was not wide enough for me to use. I was a little bummed about that but there was another part in the kit that has an adjustable holder that worked. I attached my phone to it, being careful not to tighten too much and to offset it from the center power button on my phone. I then quick-released the 2 buttons and attached the metal holder. (Sorry, my terminology is terrible for this item but I hope you get the point.) Using the quick release, I attached it to the tripod and my phone stood straight up. It's super cool that there is a ball joint underneath that can be adjusted to move the phone around to just the right angle as desired.  I turned my phone on and recorded my video without any issues. It was so easy. I could have used this months ago.

I have yet to use the bluetooth remote. But I imagine that it will be pretty easy & handy to be able to snap pics from the tripod. Super cool thing, there is a lifetime warranty on the pieces. All you have to do is contact the company and they will send you a replacement part. They've listened to customers suggestions and even added a  lanyard to the remote and made the adjustable clamp piece out of a more durable product. The company seems as though they really care about what their customers think and are always trying to improve their product. Always nice to have a company like that!

Thank you for making it so easy to record videos now. This Tripod is large enough, yet portable for many things that I like to use my phone for. I do wish that the expandable holder was large enough for my Note 4. I'm going to suggest it expand a little farther to the company.

Bamboo Pillow (MPSTANDARD)

 Today I'm sharing my review about the Bamboo Grand Standard size pillow.

This pillow comes all wrapped up in a tight tube form. The plastic was easy to open despite me not having any nails. I didn't want to use anything sharp for concern of shredding my brand new pillow.

As with most memory foam items I've purchased, this pillow needed to be opened and aired out for a bit. The directions tell you to toss it into the dryer with a dryer sheet to make it smell better and allow it to fluff. I just left it out for several hours before using it.

I wanted to take my time writing this specific review because I felt that to know whether this pillow helped me have a good night's sleep would take some time. I purchased the pillow in Oct so I've been using it for nearly 2 months.

I wasn't sure about this pillow at first. I thought when I lay my head on it that it felt quite hard but I was willing to give it a chance considering I've had a memory foam mattress before and thought the same thing but was pleasantly surprised at how wonderful a night's sleep I got from it. So I pressed on. I slept quite well the first night and was hoping it wasn't a fluke. I don't think it was because I don't plan on getting rid of this pillow anytime soon. It supports my neck quite nicely and is good for me sleeping on my back or my side. It seems quite firm, which I didn't think that I liked in a pillow but this works nicely for me.

Standard Bamboo Pillow

Not only is this pillow adjustable and it includes directions on how to adjust it. But this pillow keeps my head nice and cool all night. And I take a medication that causes me to have night sweats so this is nice to have at least a pillow that helps me get better rest.

That's less than a dollar a day for 1 month of great sleep. For something that one uses EVERY SINGLE DAY, this is worth every penny. I'm thinking about getting one for each of my kids since they are tiny & need smaller pillows but not quite as small as a toddler pillow. With these being adjustable to their neck size, I think they will make a great gift for each of them. Don't wait for another night of good sleep, get this pillow fast!

Inspired Art Paint Brushes in Case (NoShedPaint)

These paint brushes are professional brushes. Now I'm not a professional painter in any way, shape, or form. I would consider myself a hobbyist but was looking for some good quality paint brushes and I am certain that I found them! There are 15 different paint brushes. I don't really know the names of them but they each have a number on them. They also have plastic covers on the ones that are more pointy tipped to keep them in good shape. I followed the directions on the box and washed them in warm soapy water to start.

They have very long handles. I've never taken a painting class so I'm not sure whether that's good or not but I found them quite easy to use despite their length. And my favorite part is the amazing carrying case that they come in. This thing is not a hard covered case but it is quite durable with a good working zipper and as you can see in the pictures, it has a loop on the top so if you wanted to hang the case up, you certainly could. These brushes were easy to use and cleaned up very nicely as well without anything shedding from the bristles. They even made this case to have a pop-up stand. You just undo the velcro and about halfway down, there is a spot to fold it and velcro it to the 2nd velcro. What a clever and useful component for this case. As you can see in the pictures I've included, I used them to paint with Acrylic craft paint on canvas boards. I definitely give this paintbrush set 5 out of 5 stars. And I've already told my kids that they aren't allowed touching them because I want them to stay in great condition because they are just awesome!!!!  Below is what I painted and I was extremely impressed that the skinny tipped brush helped me to paint as if I was writing right on the canvas. I may be scouring the internet for more ideas to paint since these brushes are so amazing!

I've had my eye on some packing cubes for quite some time and I just couldn't bring myself to spend the $30 for a set since I don't travel that much. I love to organize things and I love to be organized when traveling. Especially if my whole family of 6 is traveling together. I finally took the jump when I was selected to purchase this set as a discounted price and boy am I glad that I did. This set is AMAZING!  Not only does it come with 6 pieces for this set but holy moly can you pack a lot of stuff in these cubes. I live in the Northern Midwest region and we often have to wear layers upon layers in order to stay comfortable. When it comes to packing, I often think the same way and tend to pack a lot to be on the safe side.  Using these cubes to pack for trips has been simply wonderful.  The zippers work great and don't catch. You can roll many articles of clothing into each piece in order to fit and organize everything nicely. They are light weight so they won't add a lot of extra bulk to your suitcase or cause you to pay extra when flying. The set also comes with a laundry bag or you could use it for shoes to protect all your other clothes. And they included a write on wipe off general packing list. I have the turquoise colored ones and they are a very pretty color. Functional AND pretty. Just what I like! Each of the cubes has ventilated netting so your clothes can breathe. And they each have a handle for carrying if you choose to use them for other things. The laundry bag has a drawstring closure.

I recently loaned my mother in law these packing cubes and she said she couldn't believe what a difference they made in her packing for her plane trip.

I give these packing cubes 5 out of 5 stars!

Artistique Premium Colored Pencils (ARTISTP48)

With all the Adult coloring books available now, it's easy to find a use for these amazing colored pencils. Plus my girls just love to color!

These pencils color smooth and flawless. I like the round cardboard style tube they came in. It's more durable than a standard box that we usually get colored pencils in.  Even with 4 kids and toting these pencils around the house & on trips, I can see this tube lasting for a very long time keeping the pencils in great shape.  At first, I was thinking that $11 seemed a bit pricey for 48 pencils but when I looked up the cost of another well-known brand, for just 2 more pencils, their price was nearly the same.  If you are looking for some high-quality colored pencils to have on hand for sketching, drawing, and using in adult coloring books, I recommend these and would give them a 4 1/2 to 5 stars. Despite using them quite a bit so far, we haven't had to sharpen them yet. I will add an update as soon as I have to sharpen any to let you know if they sharpen evenly like I anticipate and hope they will. The only thing that I can really ding these pencils on is that they don't have the names of the colors on the pencils. Some of the darker colors are so dark that I keep a piece of paper to mark a line so I know what I'm working with. Other than that, these pencils are great!

Kitxentools Cooking & Grill Mat Review (KIXENX)

I enjoy grilling in the summer & have been known to bundle in my winter coat, hat, & gloves to grill even when it's close to 0 degrees outside. For the last several years I have tried all sorts of non-stick grilling pans and such to help my kabobs and fish not stick and fall apart as they cook on the grill.  When I came across these reusable mats I was ecstatic to try them.

There are 2 mats in the package and they are non-stick and reusable. I used them on my grill to make fish & I would definitely give them 5 stars!!!!  These things were amazing. The fish didn't stick to them, even when it was nearly done. AND, this is huge, I was able to use tongs to turn the fish fillets and they mostly stayed in one piece. I didn't use a spatula flipper. I actually didn't need to because they cooked perfectly yet did not stick. I highly recommend these mats! They will get a ton of use in my kitchen.

They can be used on the grill, oven, pans, and more. And talk about easy clean up. They wiped clean so quickly that there won't be any complaints from my kids when it comes time for them to clean up after dinner. No need to scrub them, a warm soapy cloth had them clean in no time. I wish I had found them sooner. And I've got to figure out the best place to store them. For now, I dry them and roll them up and put them back in the box that they came in and keep it in the cupboard. I'm not really sure what they are made out of but the box says that they are dishwasher safe. And you can cut them if you need to fit them into a smaller pan. Please note that it cautions not to use metal utensils on these mats despite what you may see in the pics that are on the link below. I would recommend plastic or silicone utensils just to be safe not to tear the mats.

My kids have asked me to use these on the baking sheets because it makes clean up so much easier and quicker. I think they also help the food cook more evenly. Love these and have been using them a lot since I initially typed up a review.
